Right now you mom just needs your love and support. Most likely she will get a biopsy and lymph node staging which will tell her how far the cancer has advanced. If it's in the lymph nodes it's a BIT harder to treat, but not impossible. There is a lot of treatment out there. Encourage your mom to do not just surgery/chemo/radiation if it is prescribed, but to seek out a doctor for holistic treatments. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 38 and it had metastasized to her lymph nodes. She did just what the doctors told her and holistic treatments as well. She had been told that at best, she had only a 5% 5 year survial rate. That was 13 years ago and she is healthy and well. So I say be a big support. Help mom keep her spirits up. Encourage her to do exactly what the doctorssays and get a holisticc consult.

I'm sure mom will listen to you and do everything in her power to get better. Moms love their children, whether young or old and understand that children need them. Your love and support will only make her stronger. My thoughts and love are with you.

The good thing is that they detected the breast cancer in the early stage. You must prepare to be there for her because she will have days when she will feel lousy and this will be side effects from the chemotherapy. chemotherapy is a treatment that will help your mother get rid of the cancer, your mom will get worse before she gets better. Have faith in GOD that she will be in good health again. My sister had breast cancer 5yrs ago and she under went treatment. I will pray that god gives you and your family the strength you need.

YOU- are going to be fine. And since the Cancer was caught early- your Mother will be, too. Your Mother will explain to you WHAT's going to happen as she goes through treatment... So you just have to "sit tight", Support your Mom with all the Love & Attention she needs...-& try not to worry too much about it. Worrying NEVER makes things any better...-& SOMETIMES, it can make things WORSE! Hang-in-there! :)

Ask your mother how you can help but make a plan to help a lot more in the home. You are going to play an important part in keeping up a normal life so that your mother can concentrate on her treatment and not worry about things falling apart. Make sure your home room teacher knows so that you can keep school going without a fuss while your mother recovers.

A lot of people I know who have/had this are fine now (albeit missing a breast) and if they've caught it early your mum should be fine. If you google "Don Tolman" he is really good and you might be able to get tips on foods your mum could eat that will help her body heal itself. There are lots of natural ways that can help that are not medical scientific stuff.
