This article says now they voted unanimously to let them build the drag strip and get tax incentives. How did that happen?

One minute they order him to stop building and the next they are rewarding him tax incentives.

you need to read todays paper, it's says that he is 90% sure he will get out of concord and bulldoze the track and sell the property piece meal. please note that the city counsil can say and do one thing, it is up to the zoning board to reverse the descisions as far as where to put things.

Yeah, it's not set in stone yet if he will get his way - but basicly, he told them to let him build it or he would take his Lowes speedway and all the money they earn off of it and move. It would be a huge revenue loss for the city and county if he were to take Charlottoe Motor Speedway away from them. Better to have a few unhappy residents move out, than one who earns them millions of dollars every year.

Someone needs to put a stop on this man. I don't care if he has all the money in the world. It is because of him that Rockingham lost there race venue..... he wanted a second race at Texas and did not stop until he got one. Just wait, he will get that second race at Vegas too, to the detriment of another track.
