He has been under VA care since heart attack. They are aware of his problem but in no hurry. Ultro sound tomorrow, results in November when he sees the urologist. It would just help him knowing someone else out there has been through it and what they did for relief.

Your husband cannot be waiting for a doctors appointment in November. He needs to be seen by his doctor or an emergency room doctor immediately.

He could have a blockage or an infection that is causing the problem, neither is something that can be helped by waiting for a future appointment.

OTC painkillers can help the pain and a heating pad or warm/hot compresses can also help.

I hope that your husband gets some help soon and finds the answer to this.

could be a testicular torsion, a cutting off of the blood to the testicle. or an infection, epididymitis. Call your doctor now, or go to ER. I don't think waiting till Nov. is a good idea.

A month to see the doctor for a serious condition like that?

Find a new Doctor, Bozo the Clown is not the guy to see here.

I agree with the other person, go see another doctor and get it checked out.

For immediate pain I would recommend Advil or Tylenol or Alleve, and a heating pad on the scrotum.

Doesn't sound good! Tell his doc it's urgent! If health insurance will cover it,get him to the ER! Best to you both! ;-)=
