What I mean is our blueprint is a highly detailed road map of the route we intend to take.
Since we were a thought of God....God had a plan for us as he thought about us before He created us..... Therefore within ourselves we all know what our personal purpose is.

additional information.... IF we were able to know what our pass life prupose was, we then know what this life purpose is. Since it was in our blueprints from the moment God thought of us, and the plan He created from thought.

What are your thoughts on this, and what is your life purpose?

I believe we have a purpose predetermined, like profession, relationships, family, friends and certain misfortunes, which are things important to our spiritual progress.

My purpose is raise my kids (it is a big one), learn with my husband's hard temper, learn to overcome my own bad tendencies (from past lives) and use the tools God gives me to improve myself.

Peace!

This is a Christian belief called predestination. I believe, however, (because humanity is evil) that a lot of Christians believe it solely so they can do what they want and say "I cannot help it, it was mapped out before I was born!" So, being a cynic, I do not believe it. But it is possible, just don't let people know, or they will take advantage of it. Abigail Adams once said "Remember, all men would be tyrants if they could."

Once you come to terms that life and the universe itself is indeed meaningless, you begin to understand what the purpose and meaning of life is. To live, we have a rare gift of consciousness, not brought to you by a deity, that would be too easy. Given the infinite universe we inhabit, at least here on one small clump of matter, we are talking about our origins. Let go of religion and beliefs in god, believe in yourself and belief in the other humans on this planet.

My purpose is to survive and propagate. I have done so. Had a good time along the way as well. Soon I will die and that will be all. There your are. Simple, unadorned, and not for those who think that humans are anything more than another species of animal.

There is no life plan, except for ideas you choose for yourself. This is why it's useful to make sure you think it through carefully and rationally before you subscribe to any particular faith, belief system, or ideology.
If you don't know where you're going, how will you know it's where you can (or want) to go? And how would you know it if you did by chance get there?
Life is better seen as a journey, not a destination. At least it is for me.

Our purpose in life is to seek God, to experience God and to proclaim God.

We seek God by trying to obey His command to love one another for where love is, there God is also. All of our relationships come from that search for God.

For those answers that say there is no purpose in life:
We know that things that have no purpose have no worth. But our human nature demands that our lives be worth living. Our human capacity for self deception enables us to invent purpose, let's say collecting used chewing gum, and pretending that it makes life worth living.

Most people never learn how to read "blueprints" on their own.

The way we typically discover our true destiny in Christ is through a lifetime of full and active participation in all of the work, worship, sacraments, and devotions of the authentic and universal church.

I believe we do have a blueprint & a purpose but to know your purpose is not easy. I think when you are taking joy in what you do is living your purpose.

My purpose is to be a teacher.
