is it to throw away your sense of logic and reason and follow anything that you're told?

is it a decision to be brainwashed? or are they just victims of brainwashing?

not that I want to become one (hell, no way!), but I am just sincerely wondering.

Yep you definitely have no sense of logic. You have to be close minded & extrememly judgemental.

You pretty much have to be imbedded with the bible from birth. Your parents take away all your sense of reasoning and logic, and teach you to blindly follow whatever their book says - under any circumstances. If anything goes against the Bible, it's wrong, no matter what (according to most fundies). Yes, it's a type of brainwashing, because the child doesn't know any better. That's why you don't see many "Born again" Christians who haven't been Christian all their life.

Obviously the requirements to be a non-believer don't include being nice, courteous, respectful of others' beliefs, or friendly. That's so ironic, because non-believers are always "claiming" they don't need religion to have good morals. But then, I guess when you don't have morals, you can lie, too.

Fortunately for you and many of these rude answerers, Christians are taught to be loving, compassionate, and forgiving. So God bless you all! (And thanks for all the wonderful blessings!) ;)

Matthew 5:10-11 -- 10 Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.

What are the requirements to become a heckler?

Is it to forget to treat others, even if you don't agree with them, with dignity and respect?

Is it a decision to be rude?
