If I took 2 tbl spoons of cough syrup with codeine in the last 24 hours and have to take a drug test tomorrow?will I test positive?

No... just tell whoever is giving you the test that you took that. Unless you are taking the test because u failed drug tests before.. then they would probley not except the fact that you had codeine.. So... if you could, maybe you should reschedual your appointment? But only if you would like to..

take the cough medicine WITH YOU to the test, and show the examiner that you are taking it BY PRESCRIPTION and UNDER A DOCTOR'S ORDERS. Then you should have no problem.

You most likely will. You should bring the bottle with you and hopefully, you have a current prescription for it.
