There are a number of different styles of Japanese Ju-jitsu just as there are a number of different styles of Japanese Karate. Some of these styles are small in number of students with as few as only a hundred or even less. Most are very similar-they just sometimes take a different approach to a few techniques, strategy, training, striking, etc. and the difference in styles is related to other factors like family, town and geographical as much as technique.

Well the whole point of martial arts is to focus on improveing yourself, that includes improveing your body. If you think you are not build for something then start to eat right and workout until your body is strong Conditioning is as much a part of martial arts as anything else so no matter what you choose you should focus on conditioning also, It shouldn't matter where you are starting off but where you want to go, your body should grow into the martial art, the martial art shouldnt shrink into your body, it should at least meet you half way, asking it to shrink or in some cases grow to a certain body is asking too much, keep fit and do whatever interests you the most or do both
