Ok In front of my friends and family I'm all happy but on my own I feel sad, lonely and hopeless! I feel like crying, I don't want to get out of bed anymore, I can't sleep and doing things is an effort. I would probably be ok if people left me alone. I haven't been well and the training centre put me of a course so I feel down. Sorry it's not a question but I had to get it of my chest.

I had, and ocassionly have feelings almost like what you are going through. I don't know how many times when I got home from school I broke down and cried. I slept a lot too. I considered killing myself. I tried to do it. Something stopped me. I was really upset one day and stayed home and cried. I'd lost faith in all my friends, my family, myself. I asked for help. No one answered, until He came into my life. Now, I'm not trying to thump my Bible over your head here. However after I found G-d I became so happy. I'm still happy. It's almost like nothing can bring me down now.

Search your soul, find out why you aren't happy. Only you and Him can fix that. Like I said, I'm not trying to thump my Bible over your head, just telling you my story.

G-d Bless, I shall pray for you.

Well, not knowing much about you, you still sound like you are able to function and do what you have to when you have to. Perhaps you are a bit scared of coming responsibilities and would rather sleep through them. It is not easy to keep up appearances, but you will have to if you want to survive in the world. Perhaps you are a bit run down, or your hormones are unbalanced for a short time here and there. I would suggest the SAMe supplement, it is natural and available over the counter, and within one week helps people to feel really good and better able to handle their lives. It is calming without jitters or any chemical reactions. Try it and see. Good luck to you.

Tell-tale signs of depression. I was exactly like that, but now I can't be around people because that makes it worse, I feel overwhelmed and even more morose.

Talk with your family doctor and perhaps a health counselor.

You could try to modify your diet and exercise, but those didn't do much for me. It could be a health or mental issue. It's hard to say, but best to cover all bases before turning to prescriptions. I have a pill phobia, I can't help it.

At any rate, sorry to hear about that. It's really getting common, quite scary to be honest.

Depression...life is too short and too precious to waste even the tiniest moment feeling this way, without doing something to make it better. See a doc, okay hun? I'm Bipolar, myself, so I'm speaking from experience.

You could have low thyroid. I found out I did and also low vitamin D. My Dr. started me on mega doses of vit d and I feel so much better now. I would check with the Dr.
