I have bronchitis and I also have a canker sore.
I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions as to what I should eat... preferably soups but I'm open to all suggestions.
A recipe would be great too!
Thanks!

Separate issue, but you really need either some orajel stuff to put on the sore OR you can use that vick's chloroseptic spray and use it on the sore to numb it. Then, don't eat spicy stuff, salty stuff, citrusy stuff, or anything with a tomato base.

:) Sorry it's not a recipe, but I hate canker sores and I wanted to give you those suggestions anyway. Feel better soon!

You must first modify your diet; low in animal products-protein produces excess acids. Avoid sweets, citrus & processd foods, and coffee, and nuts. consume generous amounts of cultured milk products, like yogurt and kefir & buttermilk. Eat plenty of Green veggies, beets, cranberry, carots, garlic and ginger...etc... Eliminate chewing gum and lozinges. Also, take multi-vitamins.It will speed the heeling of mucus membranes. This also works for Yeast infections.

nothing sour, nothing too sweet. Hot stuff, but not burning, cold stuff. nothing to corse or it will hurt too much to swallow. Also be careful when u chew, and try not to bite or play with the canker sore. feel better!

Soup would be good if it isn't acidic like tomato or veg beef. Nothing that's salty or spicy. You might try mashed potatoes. Good luck
