I am a christian and i di think that serving your god is a part of your life, independently of your bealives... finding a spiritual joy and fulfilling your soul. but i also think the purpose of life is to find what you most love doing and dedicate your life to it with a pasion.

In every person there is a different purpose. Many people ask for very little, others (like my wife and me) ask for, in fact, demand, more, often much, much more. But even for the person who is happy to play a minor role in life, there is energy and there is time and there is a mind to cast light on what I perceive to be the major human purpose: to make the world better then I found it.

sometimes i ask the same thing. it makes me really sad to think about it because when you think too hard about it, there is no definant reason to live. why work hard. why give it your all. u know what. because in the end it will all come out better.
to me, our purpose is to have fun, reproduce, and prepare children and younger people for their life. i really cant answer it. we all have our own ideas. it also depends intirely on religion. some follow the path of family and kindness, etc. others unfortunately see life as an opportunity to fly planes into buildings and strap bombs upon themselves. religion tells all. this topic has no science and no paths. if our goal is happiness and fun, why do we work? to reach happiness? i cant answer once again. nobody can but yourself.
an example of no answer::::: the quote, "dream as if ull live forever, live as if ull die tomorrow." if i were to die tomorrow, would i go to school? many look to that quote to say live in the moment. if we live in the moment, crime and horrible things happen. live as if consequences are sure to come, both good and bad.

Without consulting outer knowledge.
I am either created or not. If not, then my life has no purpose, no meaning and no point. This is by the very definition of the word "purpose".
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell
So if I want purpose, I have to assume God.
I look inside me and see that my need for purpose and meaning is very great. Why is this? If I have already assumed God exists, I reason that He must have put this need for purpose and meaning into my human nature. Why? It could only be to point me to seek Him.
So that is my purpose. To seek God. And if my assumption that God exists and put my need for purpose into my nature, I reason that He will reveal Himself to me as I seek Him.

To procreate and contribute to the evolutionary process that drives every living thing on this Earth, including humans. Everything else in between doesn't have any purpose or special meaning. We are about as important as Archea bacteria at the bottom of the ocean.

the thruth is that nobody knows. The reason that so many people ask this question is becasue we are all scared of the inevitable...death. We, as mortals, don't like to believe that we exist for no real reason whatsoever. we like to tell ourselves that we exist for a reason. is that true? possibly or possibly not, but it's an answer that nobody can give you with a high amount of accuracy.

The Holy Bible, book of Ecclesiastes, written by the smartest man who ever lived, King Solomon, Chapter 12: 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. The Holy Bible is Gods message to us, and we better follow it. John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. If we believe in Jesus we go to Heaven, it is very simple, just pray this Prayer of faith and Jesus will come into your heart and make you a child of his, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

To make more of ourselves and spread our own genetic information as much as possible...sorry...that's the more biological standpoint of the "purpose of life." However, on a more sentimental note, our purpose is whatever it is that we make it, by our actions, thoughts, words, character, etc. It's all based off of what WE do, what WE think. I hope this helps you, and I have come to my own conclusions on this, so I didn't hear from others, just that others believe the same as I do. Hope this helps! ^_^

The real purpose of life is what you create it to be, it is you that has chosen to come here and the life experience you wanted, and every human being has their own, so to ask others what life means and the answer you get is simply their life meaning not yours.
