i know that people who are red green colorblind, can't see red and green, but in their mind, do they do what red and green look like?

they see green as red and red as green like i see purple as blue i am blue purple color blind and i assume it is the same so no their mind like doesn't know that why they're colorblind

i am red green color blind i can se the colors but i cant distinguish between the 2 or browns or oranges and reds greens and yellows like tie dye is a nightmare for me

i even have tuff time with stop lights

It's a hereditary condition that affects mainly males. Red/green is the most common form of it.

This is hunch. It must be due to inadequate sensors in the eye. If it was cognitive mix-up in the brain that could easily be corrected.
