I need some interesting locations/areas/festivals/events to take photos of for action/ depth of field.
Anyone know places??

I'll tell you what, you can start by getting out and walking around. Drive down to Midtown, park your car in the Sheraton Colony Square parking garage on 14th street, and walk around. I'm not sure what you mean by DoF photos, but there is a lot to see in this city.

Good grief! Buy a newspaper and you should find dozens of activities to photograph. Most papers have a Neighborhoods section that lists activities such as craft shows, festivals, etc., etc.
Now could you please recommend a good restaurant in Gary, Indiana?
