I used to have a list of what i want my ideal partner to look like for instance he must be tall have beautiful eyes and so forth but what i realised is that once the love bug hits you those things take a back seat and they seem so unimportant so i gather that if you really cared for this guy his height or any of his physical attributes would not matter at all

First off I am guessing you are fairly young by the way you type. Try to speak in full sentances and use actual words...you will get much farther in life.
Second being young your boyfriend most likely hasn't hit his growth spurt yet. That typically will happen between 14-16, if you truly like him, wait it out. If you just care about hieght then find some one new.

Hey Im 5'8" and my wife is 6'3"!
If it bothers you though dump him.Make sure you find a guy who is decent no matter what height he is though.I am sure your b/f will be hurt, but you didnt really like him much anyway did you?Why did you consent to be his g/f in the first place?Or are you just NOW figuring out you dont like the height difference?

do you really like him? there are plenty of guys who like the taller, 'supermodel' types. play it up and stand out in a crowd.
otherwise, if he's not the guy, tell him & stop wasting his time
