No...bipolar is a struggle that takes up your energies and some of us have achieved things in spite of the illness because that is just our personalities shining through. We worked damned hard, make no mistake, for those things and didn't give up - realizing a disability is not an inability to succeed at life.

Well maybe you should work toward your goals.

I dropped out of college because I was bipolar. I'm 21 now, a sophomore in community college. I'm planning on transferring to a better school to become an elementary school teacher.

You can't just expect to you have something. You have to work towards those things. You get what you give in life.

They just work harder during the 'normal' phase.
