It is never okay to be rude to your friends EVEN if he is nice to you.

If ANYTHING he should be nice to your friends because they are YOUR friends and he is just the boyfriend. Is there a reason behind his rudeness? Do they just not get along? I would ask these questions because if you want to ever get serious with this guy you don't want to always be in the middle. You also don't want to alienate yourself from your friends because they will be there if/when this guy leaves the picture.

I guess it's okay, as long as you're okay with giving up your friends for someone who might not be there tomorrow.

Depends on who you care about more. And you can still care about your boyfriend just as much while getting him to be nice to your friends.

No way. A bf should treat ur friends the way he treats u with respect! Imagine if u dumped him and then he started going out with one of ur friends and was mean 2 u? That wouldnt b ok! Either dump him or talk bout it with him. And do it fast or he might never be abl 2 fix his prob!

it's not okay. If you have great friends and they are not giving him a valid reason to dislike them, then maybe he just isn't the right guy. I've dated a guy who couldn't stand one of my friend's but he had a valid reason, she would say something sarcastic to him whenever she saw him and then they would end up arguing. Ask him why he's soo rude to them.

Absolutely not. Your friends will last much longer than a boy, but not if you keep this up. When it comes to guys who are jerks to other people, it doesn't matter that he makes an exception for 1 person.

No, being rude is an ego problem. If your friends are rude to him, he should defend himself, actually you should defend him. But his being rude to them, without cause is a sign of jealousy and other similar maturity problems. Warning signs to get a boyfriend that cares.

It is never acceptable to be rude to anyone regardless of social status. Watch how he treats your friends and wonder how he talks about you behind your back and wonder how he will remember you to his friends when and if it is over. He'd be rude to you now if he could get away with it.

No, it's not okay for him to be rude to your friends. It's disrespectful & one way to isolate you from your friends.

Isolating a person is one way an abuser starts to dominate someone so watch out.

Well, rude is rude, regardless who it's directed toward. You have a boyfriend with the infamous two-faced syndrome...good luck with that...
