You need to shower and scrub every day. Also you can soak in Epsom salts and warm water. The black spots are blackheads and that is clogged pores from not cleaning after sweating and letting the sweat and dirt dry on your body. You need to buy some Witch Hazel, it's cheap at the dollar store, pharmacy or Walmart and take a washcloth and rub it over the area every morning and evening, it is an astringent and it will clean the pores too. You can use this on your face too. Just make sure to touch it only once for the buttocks and once for the face to keep the bottle clean. Good luck.

A good soap and something sort of abrasive like a loofa sponge or one of those 'puffies' which are netted nylon puff balls. These both do easy rubbing on the skin to help take the loose top layer free. Hot water is better than warm, letting the skin relax so you get the best benefit from it. Then clean underwear so nothing with accumulated oil and skin cells gets packed against it when you sit and shift.

How do you know that they are there?
Exfoliate when you take a bath. Shower or bathe often. Exercise will help your skin, as will time in a steam room or sauna. I call my time in the spa the workout for my body's largest organ.
