I ate at a small resturant and was served a tuna salad with a slight seafood taste to it. Anyone have any idea what it might be or a recipe that may be about the same?

Since Tuna is seafood, I would bet that you were served a fresh tuna salad....not the kind in the can, but actual fresh tuna that had been used to make the salad. Try this

FRESH TUNA SALAD

1 lb. fresh tuna fillets
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/4 c. chopped celery
Juice from 1 fresh lemon
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tbsp. dill relish
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Bring tuna to boil in 2 quarts water. Then reduce heat 10 minutes, discard water and cool. Flake tuna with fork and combine all ingredients.

Tuna is seafood, but perhaps the salad that you enjoyed might have been a combination of tuna, surimi (imitation crab), and salad shrimp. Call the restaurant and find out what it was, then re-create the recipe.
