How Many Christians/Other Religions ACTUALLY Think Wiccans/Pagans are Evil...?

I am Wiccan, I just wanted to know. It makes me happy when people know that we are perfectly good people!!!

okay then not the people... the religion.

God says it's evil, and if we are with God, we must agree with Him. It isn't our opinion, it is His. For example:

"Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in WITCHCRAFT, or CASTS SPELLS, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).

Also,

"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and WITCHCRAFT" (Galatians 5:19-20)

So yes, it is evil. However "nice" you might be in your own opinion or that of others, in God's opinion your niceness pales compared to the evil affront you throw in His face. You must quit this sin, and turn to Christ.

*sigh* There are so many single minded people here and it frustrates me.
I think that there are good and evil people in every religion, and that no one religion is evil unless they state it so...or unless they like killing or were created for a purpose other than to help human kind. Hahaha...er.
In any case, I don't belong to a religion, though I do have a belief in God and have a kinda 'one with the universe' sorta peace on the inside.
So no, I don't think Pagans or Wiccans are evil, and I think the people that do believe to should get out more and become friends with people of other religions. In the end we're all the same and we all have somebody watching over us.

Unfortunately all those who listen to junk about Wicca and Pagan being Devil worship! Most of those people who day that don't read their history books nor know where the Bible or those ideas they are spouting come from! They also don't know anything about Wicca or Pagans at all, nor do they wish to learn.

The Bible and the idea of Satan all came about 200 years after Christ's Death. They put down the association of Witches, Pagans and Devil worship so they could keep control of the mass population and get rid of those who they deemed a threat to the well being of their influence over the people. Science was placed under that same category, as being witchcraft and the work of the Devil.

This is the 21st century! I wish that those people would start thinking for themselves instead of being lead about by the evangelistic teachings of those who still fear Wicca/Pagans. They would bring back the witch hunts if they could. Too bad. It is a sad state when we have to rely on ancient ideals to dictate how we act.

Christians "think" ALL non-Christians are evil. Muslims "think"Christians are evil. Atheist's, if you believe Christians think ALL Deity based faiths are evil. It is one HUGE vicious circle of hate, led by close-minded and fearful people who have nothing better to do than to condemn others who are different all because their Holy story book says its ok to do so. Strict religious faith or lack there of perpetrates more hate, war and murder (EVIL) than any other form of difference known to man kind.

Get off your high horses people. Get over yourselves and realize that there is more than one truth and the ONLY way anything can be evil is if the INDIVIDUAL is the one being "evil".

I'm proud to call myself Pagan. I have met more loving and accepting people in this belief structure than in any other. And have met more evil people when I was a CHRISTIAN than I ever met in any other area of my life. Go figure!

There is only one religon that is EVIL Satan. Being a Satan, meens that you are worshipping Lucifer the first expelled angel from Heaven. For opposing God.

I was raised Christian, but now consider myself a Theosophist. My logic doesn't tell me that they are evil, but at the same time, I still kind of think they are subconsciously. I guess it's from all the time sitting in church being told lies like that. The media does it too. I'm trying to get it out of my system.

I think people are often ignorant of what Wicca and paganism is, and unfortunately they associate it with devil worship or Satanism. Other people just tend to be afraid of things with which they are not familiar or that cause them to question their own beliefs. My guess would be that these are the types of folks that will classify others (Wicca, Pagan, or other religions for that matter) as "evil."

If I were not a Christian, I would be either Pagan or Wiccan.
I have NEVER seen any Pagan or Wiccan here attack or be negative about any other religion.
Pagans/Wiccans are always respectful.
You are certainly more mature than many people here.

Well I am no expert about wiccans. But wiccans on this forum have described themselves as using witchcraft and beieving in new age concepts. Wiccans or pagans, like witches, will not enter into the kingdom of heaven unless they repent and come to Christ. They are no worse off then anyone else who rejects Christ. They all have a place reserved for them in the lake of fire. They are lost but can be saved . Repent wiccans and come to Christ
