If we did it right now in a surprise attack we may get a few bruises and a black eye or 2 as a result and possibly survive the holocaust,but they are too smart for that.
I noticed China and Russia were doing military maneuvers a yr or so ago together.I believe they are biding their time, till they build their military holding us off at bay through the U.N. until they can get mexico and canada and the middle east block to join them.THEN we are in deep doo doo.

I'm Pro America, being an Aussie, BUT you guys would get flattened if you attempted a land invasion of either China or Russia, cheers !

China special: They will play the Cuba Card, i.e.

to head China will cause a Massive Response...

Just compare the size of the population of China to the size of the population of the USA, and you might get an education in what might just happen if "push comes to shove".

Heck, the US can't even keep itself from being invaded by illegal foreigners...
The US has not conquered and kept territories in the past century. China is into that game with Tibet, and wants to conquer Taiwan, and the USSR did it with half of Europe and south-west Asia.
China, Russia, and the US are all members of the "Mutually Assured Destruction" club, so it is unlikely that the will attack each other directly. (Unfortunately, a bunch of little pip-squeaks probably will be joining the club soon.)

The US does not invade other nations without cause. We will not invade China unless they declare war on us, strike us first without declaring anything, or support terrorists that are/have attacked us. Shoddy toys and some tainted food, although a nuisance, is not a cause for war!
