OK I was wondering that if I applied for 4 credit cards and 1 Stafford loan within 6 months. How bad will this make me look on my credit scores..

The reason I was denied for the loan was because I didnt make grades.. But yea..

Is this bad? Is it bad to apply for other credit cards? Is it bad to apply for college loans?

Every time a credit application is processsed, it dings your credit score. If you have too many credit inquiries in a short period it makes a bigger ding.

What kind of balances are you carrying on those credit cards? Pay them off and only charge what you can afford to pay in full and on time each month.
