ok so here's the story.
ME = super shy & quiet & flat-chested
I hardly talk to anyone. No one ever talks to me! Inside, I'm a nice person. It's just that I'm super shy. I could never get a guy, right...?
Anyways, so there is this one guy. I never noticed him much and we hardly know each other. But one day he slipped me a note saying that he thinks "my body is nice" and wants to know if i want to go out with him.
well, idk, i never had a BF, and i dont have many friends at school. (i have two sort-of close friends) i just started public school, which is why it's like that.
so anyways im really shy and im not sure what i want! i always wanted a boyfriend, but i want a friend friend too! how am i supposed to tell him? what am i supposed to decide? HELP somebody!

Guys will say anything to get something. The fact that he said that in a note when you are first getting to know each other says it all. Take things easy and let him know you want it that way. If he will be a true friend he will understand what you are saying and he will be okay with that.

In light of your shyness, it is a good thing that this guy has indicated his desire to go out with you. This does not mean you have to date him or be his girlfriend, but it give you a friend at the least. You can decide to go out with him, then see if you like him enough to date him romantically or not. Because you say you don't have that many friends, you can't be turning down opportunities to make new ones. In this case whether you date him or not, you are going to be the winner----you can have a boyfriend (which you say you also want) or a new platonic friend.So tell this guy that you will go out with him, have a good time when you do ,and then you can make up your mind if you want him as a boyfriend or just a good friend. i think you should go out with him, but on a "friend basis", so that if it goes funny, it doesnt really count. you just got into public school, so take your time getting used to things before you go off and do something crazy and wild. just take your time, get used to the schedule, then see what you want. you might be suprized!

go out with him, what could it hurt. if you don't take the risk you are always going to wonder what could have been. besides just because you are going out once doesn't mean it has to turn into anything serious, it could be the start of a great friendship.
