Your mother in law will probably find fault with a lot of the things you do including your faith practices and/or religion and your child raising preferences and standards.

Since your mother in law is your husband's Mom, he needs to be the one that stands up to his Mom and tell her she has no influence over religious matters or how you his Wife & he decide to raise your children. He needs to tell her firmly and clearly to stay out of these issues or he and his family will completely withdraw from her

Good luck, I really really feel your pain.

Why the heck should she care if you stay home w/ your kids? They're yours, not hers (some grandparents seem to think they have god-given "rights" when it comes to grandkids). Your children will be better off having you around all the time. As for your religion, are you going around spouting the greatness of Satan? Probably not. She's a narrow-minded, intolerant ignoramus. I'd spend as little time as possible w/ her. Hang in there.

Tell her that when she can go into the Bible and prove her doctrine is true and your is false you will follow her, but that she should be open minded just in case she is wrong. Then pray and fast for her.If this wont get her into GOD'S word and to be honest with herself then only a miracle will save her.
She means well, so pray for her.Her soul is in the balance and you need to stand in the gap for her.

live your own life and don't concern yourself with your mother in law.

if she is rude to you leave the room at once. she will eventually get the hint... she is trying to be the one calling the shots and she can not do that unless you allow her to!!!

That sounds like its her problem, not yours. I wouldnt even worry about it. She probably wouldn't like you reguardless of what your religous preference was! She is more than likely upset that her son has grown into a man and married a woman.
