The recent wedding I went to they danced to Lets Get It On by Marvin Gaye, it was terrific, good choice.

I don't know the name of the band but the song is titled 'I don't wann be a freak but I can't help myself'. If that does't work then Parliment's 'Make My Funk the P-Funk' is a classic.
Seriously, 'Here and Now' recorded by Luther Vandross and was actually composed by one of Dionne Warwick's sons is a beautiful tune. Congratulations!

When choosing a first dance song, it is important to really listen to the Lyrics. Though i love the song, Let's get it own by Marvin Gaye is a little tacky for a 1st dance. I recommend "We must be in love" by Pure Soul. So Amazing by Beyonce and Stevie Wonder is also a great choice.
