Not sure what month you're planning for but since you said winter wedding here's an idea.
Use the white trees that look like birch and cover them in white Christmas lights. Line the bridal aisle with them to make it look like an arch of starlit branches in a snowy garden. Use only white flowers in your decoration. Use a shade of blue for your maids. It will look like a snowy garden on a winters evening.

Why the hell do you want to spend that much? Just so you can say you had a million dollar wedding? No one likes a bragger or show off or people who spend lots of money on a wedding just to be the best. That is what you will look like. If you have to spend a lot of money on a wedding, why not spend only 100,000? You can have a brilliant wedding with that (I should think so anyway). That is still a lot of of money. Why waste 1,000,000 just to look good for one day. My wedding is costing 20,000 and it's going to be awesome, with heaps of great things! Be sensible. You know you only want a ridiculously expensive wedding to show off. I think you are a snob. You need to see you can have a great wedding for under 100,000. Expensive does not mean it will be tasteful or classy, it will probably be ridiculous and over-the-top and people will laugh behind your back and talk about it badly and see right through you.

If you are spending that much on your wedding than why don't you hire a wedding planner? They will help with decorations, themes and everything. I am glad neither me or my partner believe in marriage (well christian, in the name of god marriage anyway) I would never want something that extravagant, seems like a waste. I mean yes it is your special day and all, and it can be very special and unique without costing a million dollars, actually it would be more special and unique if you did not. Just my two cents, do what you will, but my only advice is to hire a planner, I am sure you can have a maid or servant google it for you.

The following websites would have ideas probably suited to your needs. I'd say that for that amount of money, it would be best if you found yourself a decent wedding planner to assist you in bringing it all together. It's a hard enough task with a reasonable budget - but for your money you want the best!
http://www.the-wedding-planner.com/ -lots of links
http://www.adreamwedding.com/
http://www.mauiwedding.net/
http://www.yourwedding101.com/
http://www.weddingbells.ca/ - one of the top wedding websites in Canada, lots of ideas
Services you will need:
A good photographer
A good videographer
A church or venue booked far in advance
A tailor for the groom and grooms party, booked in advance for fittings
A color theme for the entire party
A venue to hold the reception
Caterers for the reception
A dj for the reception
Possible babysitters for the guest who have children if the reception will continue late into the night
Transportation for the bride and groom, and wedding party from the church to the reception
Hotels or a place to stay for the guest
A bakery that can make the main cake and any additional cakes (enough to feed the crowd)
A legal advisor, to make sure the liquor and the ceremony is legit.
Tickets booked for air travel and hotels for the honeymoon destination.
Time booked in advance off work.
Health coverage for the honeymoon.
A florist
A maid of honor to plan the bridal shower
A lingerie store to supply the.. well, you know :P
I gotta say I am envious, I wish you well and hope this will be the day of your dreams - but remember that in the end, it's the life the two of you will have together that matters the most.

It will be depends where will you going to do the wedding. If you already know the palce, it might be easier to select a theme...
I also have a winter wedding 2 years ago... the theme is snowflakes... so, everything was decorated with snow icons... from tabel cloth, drinking glass, plates, spoon, forks, cakes, everything was have a snowflakes icons on it... evenly my wedding dress also have a theme snowflakes.
But you can get more theme that can be really fun for both of you... like snow princess, santa wedding, or anything about it...
If you like fairy tales, you can do an elf or fairies wedding, wizard of oz, maybe alice in wonderland... or anything... If you wants to go crazy, you can do a costume party on your wedding. I read on magazine that there's a couple doing their wedding in adam's family style... everything was black and so gothic...
Try to browse around some wedding magazines, they usually give you some tips for the wedding... If you still confuse or just want it fast, you can hire a wedding planner... they can help you make your wedding dreams comes true...
Congratulation... ;)

Instead of playing pretty pretty princess to show up your lil court of friends, and make everyone around you seem small... why not have a slightly larger than normal wedding ($100,000), invest some in some savings bonds, maybe be an unselfish for 20 seconds of your life and Donate some to charity.
Seriously?? What is the point of spending THAT much money on one day?!? Are you famous? do you expect paperotizi? is Donald Trump going (if he is, i'm not impressed... for $1mil i wanna see... Bono or some **** and even if bono showed up, he'd just look around and go... D*mn, what a waste of money)
ANd dont sit here and go, "oh yall are just jealous cuz i can spend it and you cant"... oh if i had it, i wouldnt spend it (thats how you keep it). I take great pride in being the cheapest women on the planet and still walk out the house looking like a supermodel, driving a fly *** car, and having everything in life i could possibly desire. You dont have to spend money to be fabulous!

I went to a winter wedding and their was this fake snow. Wish looked creepy realistic along with flowers in the aisle. And for the wedding reception their where these small clear bowls with little crystal snowflakes floating in them. I'll look up some sites of winter weddings. The colors ice blue and white and even silver would be great. I also liked the glass sculptures of angels. Think of a winter wonderland fairy tale. Only as a wedding version.
Note:Promise. Do NOT make the wedding on Christmas. A lot of people dislike Christmas weddings. Winter weddings are beautiful but not on Christmas.
Edit:All the people criticizing her back off! Your wedding is only once and it should be perfect. She has every right to a fairytale wedding!

Why in the heck are you wanting to spend OVER a million dollars in the first place?? A lot of marriages end in fights over finances so I hope you have plenty of money to cover it all. If your serious you can think of big ice sculptures carved to a life size bride and groom, an ice hotel for the reception, have a snow machine lightly blow snow into an archway where the bride and groom will enter at the reception, have a custom snowflake designed cake, tables at the reception.. centers cut out and instead of the sometimes popular fish pond in the center have it an ice pond with a bride and groom ice skating or have frozen clear bowls with flowers frozen in it or some sort of other decoration frozen within it.. maybe sleds... There are endless possibilities out there. If you want to more ideas email me!

This is a very interesting question, considering one of your recent ones,
"What is the highest paying career?
Also, what courses would I have to take in universities to achieve the degrees needed for these top paying careers?"
If you really had over $1 million to plan a wedding, I would suggest spending no more than $50,000 on the wedding, and giving the remainder to charity.
