This guy I know asked me to go to the movies with him but I just dont like him in that way whats a good way to let him down and telll him I just want to remain friends?

just tell him that you like him as a good friend and you don't see him that way. and just let him understand that you want to remain friends.

Just tell him that you are not interested in getting into a relationship or dating, tell him that you value him as a friend and would appreciate his understanding that you are happy with things the way that they are!!
