i have my screen saver disabled, because for the most part i watch full length movies on my pc, and the screen saver keeps going on, if i have it set...

is there a way to disable the screen saver while watching video with windows media player 11.0.6000.6344 with vista home premium...

also, havent done testing yet, but will the screen saver come on while using VMC? if so can it also be disabled while using VMC, i dont want the screen saver regardless of what i am doing in VMC...

i have "allow screen saver durring playback" un-checked... the screen saver still comes on...

i leave this pc on 24/7 connected to a 42in plasma, so it would be nice if i walk away from the pc without turning off the tv to have the screen saver active, i dont like having to leave it off and it is impractical to go into the settings every time i load and exit WMP

open your media player, right click at the very top on the title bar. This will bring up a menu, click on tools, then options. Clcik on the player tab, and un select " Allow screen saver during playback. That should fix your problem

Yeah there is an option in windows media player to turn it off while watching movies. Go into the options and you will have to look for it. It is in there somewhere not to really sure tho but it's there tho.

I think vista and XP are almost the same.You should right click on your desktop them properties or customize(I dont know witch one on Vista)Then click on the screen saver tab and disable them
