A coworker just got a flu shot and we sit inches from on another. She wasn't feeling well the day after and I know that when one gets the flu shot it is actually a flu strain. So is it possible for me to have gotten it. I am weak, have a fever and ache all over.

No, no a thousand times no..a flu shot is a KILLED virus..even the person that gets the vaccine cannot get the flu..it puts your body on alert..oh we are being invaded by the bad guys..the white blood cells band together increase and rush to the scene, only to find it was a false alarm..but we will stand @ attention for the next few months in case the real germs do come..hope this helps you understand better..

No, it's a tiny amount meant to stimulate your immune system, not give you the flu. You'd have had to be near someone who's been exposed at least 3 days prior and who already has symptoms. for the virus to spread outward from that person.
