33x12.5R17's are the biggest and widest tire you will be able to fit on a stock Dodge Ram truck without a lift kit and having rubbing issues on the front wheel well or suspension.

However, if you place on a 2 inch front leveling kit you will be able to fit 35X12.5R17's. Front leveling kits fully installed will run around $500.00. However, only drawback is when you get a load in your truck bed or pull a trailer your front end will lift up and looks dorky and it also becomes annoying for oncoming drivers at night.

The big question is WHY? You're truck came out with the right size for that truck. You can go about 2 sizes up and still program the truck's speedometer to compensate for that size. Also you will lose some power and fuel mileage not to mention what Dodge Guy says about alignment. Why do you think bigger is better?

for the first answer, tire size, not wheel size ... you can put a 28 inch OR a 44 inch diameter tire on a 18 inch wheel. for the second answer, good response if they wanted to drop a couple grand on wheels to put tires on... but that size is only 30.4 inch diameter, and can easily go to a taller tire (and doubt that width would fit without serious dish offset wheels) third answer, very logical and I have to agree. 33 inch diameter will fit without without a lift, 35s might too, but would look odd without a minimum of a small body lift. and might come close to touching on the front in a hard turn if flexed...

33,s will fit it but if you put them on the stock rims you,ll wind up with the problem im having,i went to have the front end aligned and the tire was blowed out so far on the rim that they couldn't use the front end alignment tools on the rims we had to switch back to align the front end,but 33,s will fit it,they,ll also throw the speedometer off pretty bad on it,been there and done it,good luck.
