You didn't say what is old'en 70's, 80's, 90's, or what genre.
Lovin' You by Minnie Ripperton or When Somebody Loves You Back by Teddy Pendergrass. Silly by Deniece Williams is a good one from the 80's. Lovefool by The Cardigans along with Beauty by Dru Hill from the nineties.

I think sometimes songs sound like love songs (this is depending on what sort of music you're listening to of course) but really they've been written about something completely different. They're just in a 'love song' format because people relate better to it

The Cure have a bunch and they're all timeless.
- The End of The World
- Love Song
- To Wish Impossible Things
I love 'em, maybe you will.

The ones that come to mind are "Trying To Love You" by Trisha Yearwood, "Teardrops On My Guitar" by the lovely Taylor Swift & "Winner At A Losing Game" by the ever talented Rascal Flatts.

There are lots of songs about love which have been recorded over the years. If it wasn't for those type of songs then I think the music industry would have gone broke years ago.
My favourite is "Love is a Beautiful Song"
