Glinda, Good Witch of the North: "Are you a good witch or a bad witch?"

Answer: A good witch.

Best advice (and I mean this sincerely): PLEASE read Positive Magic by Marion Weinstein. Thank you.
Blessed Be.

p.s. Sorry, dear. You aren't ready for spells yet. Read the book, then get back to me (you can email me through Yahoo Answers). But first, you have to read the book. There will be a quiz. (Oops! That's the teacher in me talking.)

Honey, you need to learn a bit about what being a witch is before declaring your desire to become one. You sound like the 3rd-grader who ardently declares his desire to be an astronaut without having the slightest inkling that math is heavily involved. It;s not about poofing your will upon others or anything silly like that. It's about an entirely different view of the divine in many cases. Your assertion that you would "hurt God" by practicing suggests that you really have no idea what a witch is. Study up a bit and THEN decide if this is something you wish to persue.

Advice #1: Don't beg for spells. No one who actually knows about spellwork is going to give you any.

Advice #2: Learn about how magic works. Just because you own a car doesn't mean you know how to take it apart, and just because someone hands you a spell doesn't mean you can use it.

Advice #3: Be true to yourself. Forget "black" or "white". The terms are meaningless. Just stay true to your ethics. Anything that you find unethical through mundane means is unethical when done through magic.

God has many more things in store for those who believe in him. Better than being a white witch.... How about hearing God's voice? How about healing the sick, encouraging the weak? 1 corinthian 12 speaks of the gifts of the spirit. Find your self a good church that practices in these gifts, and you might find grace that far exceeds the "power" you speak of.

Far too often, we sell ourselves short, seeking what we see for our own reasons. We can't see beyond our weaknesses, when you let go and let God takeover, great things are possible.

There is no black or white magic. Magic simply is. Just like a hurricane is not evil or good. It simply is. It also depends on your definition of magic.
Intent is everything.

There is no such thing as a witch who is a Christian. It is told right in the Bible to NOT deal with witchcraft, sorcery, horoscopes and the such. They are ALL links to Satan. Satan tries to fool people by helping so called good witches, that is where witches get their so called powers from...Satan.

Satan is a great deciever and we as Christans should be very careful on how we live. Read the Bible and use the Bible for every important decision in your life. Heck, you can use it for every single decision in your life. Also, if someone is truly a Christian then the Holy Spirit will also guide you the right way.

STAY AWAY from witchcraft!!!
