Why do they do that? Why do they hate the God concept so much?

First of all, there is little organized Atheism to hold any type of ceremony. And Second, the organized Atheism that I do know of has few, if any, ceremonies of any sort.
I am not a parent. But if I were, I would not leave my children ignorant of anything. They would probably hate me; I would make them read the Bible.
I suppose there might be something like religious logic. I am not sure what would constitute a rational mythology.
There is no single God concept. Unfortunately, most of them are not of much use.
Since atheists do not do what you posit, the question Why is meaningless.

actually the pagan norse were naming their children by rubbing water on their head long before it became Catholic dogma for infants to be baptized. The early church was all about converting adults,and no one was actually born into the church.
