If she has had no contact with males, she is just going thru a false pregnancy. If there is even the slightest chance that she did have cointact with a male, she is probabky pregnant. Do you know exactly when her heat started? A dog's pregnancy is about 63 days. She should be having pps at any time if she is pregnant. It would be a good idea to take her to the vet and see if she is indeed pregnant.

So, you have to know that she was NOT outside at all without you right by her side during her heat period, before and after also. It is amazing how fast a male smells and does his thing and yes, if you were not keeping her locked up tight she is most likely with puppies. If you are 100% sure she was not around any male at all...she may be going into another heat. So, you have to lock her up tight, they can do it through a wire fence...they can! So, unless you are willing to do the work you will have puppies. So, either do it or get her fixed for her sake. They are healthier when they are fixed too.

Well, she could be...if somehow, a male snuck up to her when you weren't around. BUT...pregnant dogs generally get their milk in about 2-4 days before delivering. Usually, it's closer to 2. If it's been 8 weeks since she went into heat, that's only 56 days. Dogs have puppies at around 64 days. Of course, that would be pretty 'exact' and if you aren't SURE when she went into heat...you may be off by a few days.

dogs pregnancies are usually about 60-65 days so if she was in heat 2 months ago then she is likely to be close to having puppies, was she in a situation where she could have gotten pregnant then? take her temp 98º and she will have them that night, over 100º she still has a few days, to be on the real safe side get her to a vet.

Only if she was around a male dog to get pregnant. She could be having a false pregnancy though. That's where her body thinks its pregnant and it goes through all of the symptoms. your best bet is to take her to the veterinarian. Another option is to have her spayed. There are to many homeless pets in the world.

It is possible they are preg fro 60-65 days on average from the day she was bred.
However this can be a simple false preg. or it can be cancer or something else so I would suggest taking her to the vets.

Its always a possiblity. But, if it was 2 months ago, she should have had puppies by now. Gestation isn't that long for dogs. Maybe you should think about taking her to the vet to have her checked.

it could be if she's not spayed. my uncle's little pooch had this enlarged breast. unfortunately, it turned out to be breast cancer. yeah, dogs have that too
