Scampi like recipe:
Melt 1/2 stick of butter. Add the juice of 1 lemon, 2 pressed garlic cloves, salt, 1 cup of white wine and 1 bay leaf. Simmer for 10 minutes, then throw in your frozen shrimp, turning the heat up bit until the sauce begins to boil again. Once the shrimp start to shrink, remove them immediately so they do not get tough.

One of my favorite ways to use frozen pre-cooked shrimp is in Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo.
Thaw your shrimp in cold running water.
Make an Alfredo Sauce while the fettuccine is cooking.
Fast Alfredo Sauce
Larry “Doc” Hudson
1 - 8 oz. package Cream Cheese
¾ Cup (3 oz.) Grated Parmesan Cheese
½ Cup Margarine or Butter
½ Cup Milk
8 oz. Fettuccini, cooked and drained
In a large saucepan, stir together cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, margarine, and milk over low heat until smooth.
Add Fettuccini; toss lightly
4- servings.
(As a variation, before making the sauce, cut up boneless chicken, pork or beef into bite-sized portions. Season the meat with salt and pepper, sauté in butter or olive oil until done. Remove from heat, and make sauce. Just before adding the Fettuccini, add the meat or pre-cooked shrimp to the sauce and stir well. Editor)

Defrost in warm water. You don't want to recook the shrimp or they will tough. Sautee all the rest of your ingredients then just toss the shrimp in to warm up. I would suggest that you use equal parts of olive oil and butter to lighten the dish up a little, but that's up to you.

The butter will only burn if you cook at high temperature, add a dash off cooking oil.

I usually grill or bake my shrimp(loaded with lemon juice and seasonings).
Then, I boil penne pasta, frozen veggies, and diced tomatoes. Scrumptious!
