but..what do u think of the ring. u will be the one wearing it. does it suite your taste? or is it what he wants for u? do u have something else in mind? if so, maybe u two could compromise. or...i could wear that ring for u :-)

While I do like the looks of the pave' engagement rings, I find them uncomfortable, b/c if they turn slightly on your finger they get itchy. I prefer the regular solitaires with the smooth band for comfort. You might not have an issue with this, but you might want to retry it on in the store and think about it. (Although the sample ring in the store might be larger than your actual ring size and get turned around more than your ring would.)

The styling is much like mine, and I think my ring is the nicest in the world, so obviously, I love it! I would only caution against Zales. They are mostly found in malls, which means high mall rents, which means higher prices. You could probably find a ring just like that at a privately owned shop for the same price or a bigger diamond or better quality for the same price.

I think it's a ring. Other people's opinion of it is about as important as this letter right here => Q
What really matters to you?
1.) what ring he gives you
2.) that he's the person that is getting the ring to give to you
Think a bit more about your own taste, if it is simply a matter of taste, because it will be on your finger - representing his care for you. Besides, he showed you the ring that he wanted to get you because he wanted to know WHAT YOU LIKE not what you think OTHER PEOPLE would like. He wants to marry you, and know more about you, what your likes and dislikes are...not what some women that you don't even know like or dislike. Please don't ask anyone else! Don't deprive him out of what your true likes and dislikes are!

It's fairly average, in my opinion. It's not ugly or anything, but sorta boring. Like one of the other posters put it, it basically looks like a ring that pretty much anyone has.
BUT, if you love it, that's what matters, and if he loves it and picked it out for you, that matters even more.,..i love my engagement ring 1) because my fiance picked it out with out me and 2) because it's very unique- the only thing common about it is that it is white gold and has diamonds....the setting is unlike settings I've seen....and I think that's cool.
Best of luck!

wow, looks like every other engagement ring I've seen with the exception of the solitaire. If you want to be unique, try something different. If you like trendy, go for it. Personally I like that I've never seen the ring that is on my finger on another woman's before.

I think that it is very pretty and tasteful! Congrats... however, if you don't like it... TELL HIM NOW! You are going to be the one wearing the ring forever... it needs to be something you like. Go to Zales with him and try it on along with some others so that you will know for sure.

Girl you be blangin'! j/k
It's pretty. I like the fact that the main diamond isn't ridiculously big. Leave that for the old women who shop at QVC.
Good luck.

I think it is typical. It's pretty and all but it looks like the same thing that every other girl has.....maybe you should look into something a little less typical because clearly since you are asking what everyone thinks about it...you're not sure of it. Get something that not everyone has, get something that people don't look at and say, "Hey! My friend Jen has a ring very similar to that..."

Aw, too bad he ruined the surprise!
It's pretty. Personally, I don't like the channel diamonds, and would like classic yellow gold.
