It's soo simple, and I know you'll be fed up hearing it, but EAT LESS and EXERCISE MORE!!!!!!!!!!
It really does work. Walk to school, instead of going in the car/bus, and walk everywhere else that you need to go.
Gradually cut out sweets/soda/treats etc from your diet - I'm not saying go T-Total, but cut down, and in time you will see a difference. These things should be "treats" as in, eaten sparingly, perhaps to reward yourself for some sort of achievement instead of eating them all the time, when bored etc. Eat more fruit & veg & drink more water.
It will not happen overnight. The healthy rate to lose weight is around 1-2lbs per week.

Firstly don't go on a diet!!!
Eat three healthy well balanced meals a day.
Always eat a really good breakfast, this has been proven to help people lose weight without starving themselves.
Don't eat late at night, say for example no food after eight o'clock.
Exersice is the best method of losing weight. You gotta use more calories than you eat during the day. Jogging is agood idea. Buy a skipping rope. You don't need to go anywhere to use it. It may not look like it but skipping uses lots of energy, just try skippingfor ten minutes and you'll know what I mean, the sweat will be pouring off you.
whatever exersise you do get in to a routine and stick to it. Don't be put off if you don't see results straight away, stick at it !
Not only will you lose weight, you'll feel better phsically and mentaly, you're skin and hair will look better and you're concentration will improve.
Just remember, burn more than you eat but keep eating!

Usually, when I see an answer like this, I put a link up for my blog. I made it three days ago because I got tired of answering questions like this. But since you want serious answers, I'll take the time to type out advice for you.
1.) Drink more water and less pop/soda.
2.) Exercise at least one hour every day.
3.) Eat your meals slowly.
4.)Don't skip meals.
5.) Don't get distracted while you eat - don't watch T.V. or play games while you eat.
6.) Eat more fruits and vegetables and less carbs, fats, and sugars.
7.) Start lifting weights.
8.) Tap your foot or your fingers when you're bored - it burns calories.
9.) Join a sport or an activity.
For more advice, click on the link below. It's a link to my blog, which has this advice and a lot more. I hope that helps you with your weight loss!

12 Tips for Atkins Diet
1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.
2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.
3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.
4. Don't weigh yourself more than once a week
5. Take starting measurements as well as weight - sometimes you'll lose inches before pounds
6. Avoid any type of "low carb" sweetener for the first two weeks
7. Don't compare your loss to someone else's - this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)
8. Stalls are common around the third week so don't panic
9. If you follow your plan to the T and don't lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese, mushrooms and any other fermented food
10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison
11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts - make sure your doctor knows that you're doing low carb and when you started
12. Don't blame the diet if you don't read your plan book -- blame the diet if you don't read the labels -- Don't blame the diet if you don't follow the diet

Eat at least 6 meals a day. Eating six meals will rev up your metabolism. Make sure they are healthy. Watch for high fat foods, high carbs, and high sugar. Avoid them as much as possible. Do not starve yourself. Eat breakfast. Skipping breakfast will slow the metabolism and you risk gaining weight as a result. Take in plenty of protein(found in tuna, chicken, etc). Replace juices and soft drinks with water or zero calorie.
Run, jog, bike, or swim on a regular basis. You could do these everyday. About 30 mins to an hour could be sufficient.

The first thing I have to say is that you need to know if you need to lose weight or not. You might say you're fat, but look at the facts. What's your weight and height. Enter it in a BMI (Body Mass Index) calculator and see if you're really overweight. To get a BMI calculator, search for BMI calculator and try any of the first 10 links.
For more tips, that is, if you know you need to lose weight, then you can email me.

You don't need more activity. You need to get serious first about losing weight and then take in fewer calories than you burn on a daily basis. That is the only true way to lose weight.
