I'm adopted. I have wonderful parents so any desire to meet my birth parents wouldn't be out of that "something is missing" feeling that some people think all adopted kids feel The only reason I would be interested in meeting my birth parents is to get a medical history or to hear their story.

I'm adopted! I have on & off feelings about meeting my real parents. I have very little information about my birth parents. The only reason I would want to meet them is for medical history and maybe to hear their story about why they gave me up and whatever. I had a wonderful mom (she died in Dec 2004) and I have a wonderful dad .. and I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world, because they are the only parents I know and they raised me to be who I am. It's my birth parents that missed out on my life, and I can't say that I feel sorry for that, it's their loss. I know that sounds mean, but .... that's me.

I would use the internet somehow and look up family history some way or try to find out where I can go and find the history of my family such as a hospital.
