they belong to the world and the world hates Christianity. and it bugs them because the only threat to their false belief is the truth .

Wrong I'm atheist and wrong no fence sitting here. I did church and all that when i was young all the way up to my conformation. But like the tooth fairy stories Catholicism and god couldn't seem more like those fairy tales and i became aware. So I've done church and know about jesus and I'm still atheist and will be till some type of proof is surfaced. aka never. Good luck.

I used to be a fence sitter after I finished with being a Christian.
After that I got off the fence and became an atheist.
Perhaps if Christianity wasn't your first exposure to religion you'd still be an atheist you half-atheist Christian.

Yeahhhh....I havent sensed the usual aggression and it seems like there have been some heartfelt atheist questions today. ( I think the Christians are being kind of nice too.) When we just share the good news of the gospel..and not inject our own two cents...it diffuses the arguments dont you think?

No. For the love of god, I hate it when all these Christians act like if you don't believe in god your more evil than Hitler, Saddam Hussein and Osma Bin Laden. ITS POSSIBLE TO BE ATHEIST AND COME TO THIS ANSWERS SECTION! It's because people don't know a thing about atheists they come here.

Hello, atheist here.
I just don't relate to Christianity, find sermons in church utterly, utterly boring, find many Christians off-puttingly moralising and I don't see how any of it applies to my own life. Furthermore, you can be a good person without necessarily being a Christian, that goes without saying.
Tell me why I "should" be a Christian? And don't come out with the usual stuff. Why is it so great?

As a supposed Christian you have learned well how to distort the truth.
Your masters will be very proud of you.
I have learnt about this jesus and have dismissed him out of hand along with all the other gods that have been invented by men.

Praise be to God for he alone is worthy of worship. If this is the only exposure that they receive to the Lord Jesus Christ, let them straddle the fence. I think one or two lost sheep might find their way back home. At than again, there might be one or two new Christians that are not yet committed to the Lord Jesus Christ that might be swayed to their line of thought. It's a double edged sword and if your not strong in your conviction and your beliefs than one might fall or rise to the occasion depending on your point of view.
