There could be a 50/50 chance that this would actually work. In other words (or what I am trying to say is) that this genetic creation of a child may not work as what you were hoping it to be. If I had a choice, I would want a daughter, but I wouldn't care about the rest, besides, destiny (or God as we know it) will decide onto the rest while our child is growing inside of the womb.

That would be so boring! Where's the fun in knowing what your child is going to look like?
Anyway, it is getting ridiculous. What started out as a medically necessary procedure has now turned into a pick-and-choose station for designing babies. It's sick.

no, the ONLY THING i would have changed about my son if i could've would have been his health. he was born with ALOT of medical problems and due to this, he passed away 3 years ago. he was only 2 years, 9 months old. BUT, he was/is perfect in every other way. now he's my angel baby.

eye color is already chosen since we both have blue eyes. if given the money I would have my baby be perfectly healthy for his/her entire life but i would not choose gender or anything else because they are not important at all!

NO!!
I really think it is disgusting that people want to do this and I think it is just plain wrong.
I'm quite happy to fall pregnant and get the baby that I'm meant to have, rather than fiddle with sh*t that people should just leave alone.
It really really gets to me. What happend to two people loving each other and each others bodies and being blessed with a child 9 months later. Now people think its this shopping adventure, where you can choose the style and colours you want etc. There is just something so so wrong with that. I really think that it is immoral.

I would, but not on silly things like hair and eye color. I dont care about that, plus its a bonus that i have the dominant genes for what i would want my children to have! But I would "design" it if i could, so that she would be normal like everyone else and try to prevent illness that occur later in life such as schizophrenia, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, alzheimers...etc

I have mine, and all she cost was a copay.
The dimples she has are a plus.
No seriously, she is really gorgeous. I know everyone says that, but she is. She even goes to sleep on her own. And she walked at 9 months. Shes brilliant!!

Children are not meant to be "ordered" in the way that one wants. I would never do that. I have two children, and to us, they are perfect the way they came, there is no need for "improvement."
Even my daughter, who was born with a cleft lip/palate, was born perfect. :)
If people want it their own way, they need to go to Burger King.
