my dad's new wife has him completely whipped. lately, his wife darcy's daughter callie has been trying her hardest to make my life as miserable as possible, and my dad's tried to stop it, but darcy won't admit her daughter is doing anything, and just blames it on me and claims i'm lying through my teeth. dad doesn't like callie too much, but he always goes on darcy's side and punishes me for stuff i've never even done, because darcy controls him. i've tried talking to him, and whenever she's not around he'll admit she treats him like crap, but he won't stick up for himself or me. does anyone have any ideas of suggestions?

You poor thing! I know exactly how you feel - my mom and I had the same problem, only my mom always saw my step brother as a golden child...
You need to sit down with your dad and tell him that if he doesn't want to stick up for himself, fine, just at least be the father HE USED TO BE and defend you by telling his wife she can't run around playing favorites. Tell him if you can't rely on him and trust him, your relationship with him will suffer. Ask him this - how you can trust a father you will only support you when it's kept a secret??????
By discussing things like this, WITHOUT bashing Darcy and Callie, hopefully he will see how he's hurting you and destroying your bond. Guilt can be your BEST FRIEND in a situation like this!!!

Hi Ashley my name is Ashley too. That's tough well lets see. Set up a hidden camera and tape Callie in the act then show them all. But your dad has to stand up for him self and help you out too. Have a day with just you and your dad and talk to him that way your step mom or step sis cant get to you. Hey us Ashley's got to stick together right?

sorry to say but your father should have more b*&#'@ and stand up for his own daughter. i think in this day an age of technology you can put your thoughts together and perhaps video tape them or record them while they do the evil deeds they do against you. then play it back to the stepmom with your dad present. let's see how she'll defend herself and her spon to your dad then. why is your father putting himself through this when he admits she's not even good to him to begin with, the s** can't be all that great. as far as your steps are concerend, it's too bad that some people haven't grown up yet. be well. you should have a sit down discussion with all of them next time something happens. that way no one can lie while the other person is sitting right there! it's hard in a mixed family to get along sometimes.

is it possible to move back in with your mom? Are you old enough to have the courts declare you an adult and see if you could move in with a friend? Maybe see if you all could get soem therapy?
