It isn't trolling. It's protecting our rights and forwarding our point of view of religions.
Why do you insist on telling us how we should live our lives and not expect get a response, are you even more irrational than most believers?
And by the way, it is an insult to me when you 'pray' for me.

I have said it before and I will say it again, it is because they are not true atheists. A true atheist does not believe in God and does not care if you do either. Many of the people who troll R&S are not true atheists. They have simply replaced religion that believes in God to a religion that does not and they are here to "evangelize". They will tell you that is not true but it certainly seems to be.

Because some idiot keeps posting questions about Atheists. If we werent here to inform you, you'd be left to get only responses from others that THINK they know why I am here. For example, you WRONGLY believe that ALL other religions believe in a God. WRONG!!!! Would your fellow Christians correct you on that point? No - because most of them have never bothered looking at another religion.
Youre Christian, right? So, why are you here? Shouldnt you be in the Relationships category since Christianity isnt a religion, its a relationship with Christ?

Search for the word "atheism" in a dictionary, and you will understand that it is NOT a religion.
And there are many religions who don't believe in a god (buddhism, taoism) and others who believe in many gods (hinduism).
I wanned to tell you to think outside the box, but I guess that's rather useless.

Not true. And Atheism isn't the disbelief of God, they don't believe in any god or any final reward. They believe that when you die, you die. And cults are baby religions and they don't believe in god. They continue on about it because of all the people that try to convert them to this religion or that religion. The things they have to put up with. That's why I'm a quaker and believe in anything I want.

I'm a small 'a' atheist. I can still have an opinion and as long as Yahoo allows it I can present that opinion here. Besides, didn't you just ask a question about atheists?
Besides that I serve a great purpose on here. I see at least a dozen incorrect definitions of the word atheists here every day. All joking aside that truly is what has kept me here for the last month or so.
If all of the "Atheists do or are this that or the other." questions went away, so would I.

R&S is about beliefs... including the belief that god does not exist...
... and also including the belief that this must be the millionth time someone has asked this question without having the brains to check to see if it has already been asked.
It is remarkable how universal amongst religionists is the total inability to spell the word ATHEIST or indeed to click on the spellchecker.
"All religions except atheism believe in god" - wrong on two counts:-
1. atheism is NOT a religion any more than "OFF" is a TV channel
2. There are a number of religions which do not believe in a god or gods
I suggest that you stop asking questions before you embarass yourself further and attempt to gain a basic education first.

You missed the spirituality part, one can be an Atheist and still be spiritual.
In addition just because one dose not believe in a particular religion dose not mean they do not have knowledge about it.
Atheists have the same right to be here as you and I.

when you make a statement "all religions believe in god in one way or another" that is FALSE, how do you expect to get meaningful answers.
what about Confucianism? Agnosticism?
i think deep down inside us athiests keep hoping for a rational argument coming from a christian...and we'll keep trolling till we find one.

Your guess is as good as any. Maybe they really know that God is what they want and need in order to be happy. They just have a wierd way of asking God for His love and mercy.
