cigarette smoke stains everything. it stains walls and moustaches, teeth, lips, skin and fingertips. smoke stains period. it has nothing to do with toothpaste. smoke touches the teeth repeatedly therefore it stains.

it is one of the chemicals in the cigarette... just have said berson inhale from a cig and then exhale on a white piece of paper... teeth just take longer to stain than the paper
