Don't you hate it when atheists...?

Question

Replace the body of Christ with rice paper, the blood of Christ with wine, and put up scatological depictions of Jesus being tortured? And then, as if that wasn't blasphemous enough, they light all the church candles on fire?

How could anyone do that? It's so sick.

I'm with you on the depictions of Jesus. I wonder what the people are thinking about as they are making those crosses, and re nailing the bloody image of Jesus to it. Sick is right.

I must admit to being somewhat baffled when I first visited the R&S section after stumbling on Yahoo answers by coincidence,
Having grown up in Amsterdam, a very secular city despite it's great mixture of various religions I was totally unaware of the fact that as an atheist I was the worst of the worst, unfit to be called a human being, the main course of the destruction of society as we know it, and should be dragged out onto the street to be shot !!.
And I thought ....Wow !! over here it just means I don't believe in the existence of God, No big deal not even for Christians.
So I will forever be grateful to the true, loving, caring people
who in the best traditions of their forgiving religion have told
me that I will go straight to Hell, that that is a good thing and
exactly what I deserve and the sooner the better.
I used to get some of that stuff from a few very fundamentalist
Muslims here in Amsterdam, and they are considered nut cases.... To get this from people who call themselves Christian was frankly shocking......
There are however some notable and admirable exceptions,
and I fervently wish these people will find the strength to leave
their church ( apparently preaching hate ) and return to their God.
( It would be impolite to want them to become Atheists )
Just another reason not wanting to live in a Theocracy, which
the U.S. seems to be heading towards.

The United States has never collected a church tax. so I cant imagine they would tax me.
