One night my cat just started having a seizure and my dad held up her head and she peed and now she is fine and we brought her to the vet and he said she is fine why did she have one though?

Did your vet offer to do any diagnostic tests? When a cat seizures it's really serious. Did they do bloodwork? Did your cat get into anything (houseplants, etc.) When animals go into seizure, it's typical that they lose control of their bladder/bowels. You can also have an MRI done, but those are usually VERY costly--it's the best way to find an answer for seizure activity though. Good Luck

A cat who has just had a seizure is NOT fine.
There are several possibilities, including diabetes and epilepsy. Take your cat to another vet and find out what's going on.
