The ball is a formal affair. I'd say that would PROBABLY be sufficient, but it's a little bit trendy in style. That's not a bad thing, but the norm is going to be solid reds and blacks for dresses. Classy looking dress, by the way. Depending on hair/make-up and such, it could come off well.

comparable because of the fact the different lady travellers that are there who're civilian. this is formal outfits so as which potential the two complete or tea length gown that may not too revealing interior the chest or the lower back area, no longer too plenty bling and if there is any slit in it does not circulate above the knee. You placed on a color that fits you the ideal with the information that no types are rather liked, so greater a stable color or this is a multi-color if it is going from darkish to easy or vice versa. seem at Bridal shops on the clearance rack first as often you may get some respectable ones there or important shops. in case you prefer some techniques then Yahoo "military ball robes" and it will supply you some to look at. DrZ Tea-length potential to the mid-calf area.

Gorgeous dress!
I disagree with the solid reds & blacks comment. If the Marine Ball is anything like the Soldier's Ball that I attended last year... there were girls in dresses of all colors. Mine was HOT pink & backless & I got many compliments from the older wives that were there.
As long as your date agrees with it, I'd say wear it & work it girl!

It's really nice, and I think if you are younger then mid to late 20's not a bad choice:) I think your best bet would be to talk to your boy friend's supervisor's wife to see what, exactly, to expect there, and what would be considered appropriate(if his supervisor isn't married, try and talk to one of the other NCO's wives, they are bound to be able to help you)
