I went out to a club a couple of weeks ago. well, as i was setting with my friends minding my own, when my 50 year old aunt comes in (who is married) with 3 kids & 3 diff. daddy's, was doing her thing with other men. like being felt up and showing body parts. A bit later she was dancing ungodly with guy and she danced over to me and said "you didnt see me here". I said i didnt want to see you here. i was not going to tell her husband....it was none of my business. so i figured it was no big deal to tell my mom because my aunt has done this for yeeeears and they are very close. everyone knows what she does except her husband. i took it she meant no to tell her hubby and i told my mother. now, my mom is mad at her because she was acting like she was about dead "physically". but she was out cutting a rug with a bunch of men. playing my mom like a fiddle. i didnt know this until after i told my mom. my aunt is mad at me. who gives a ****..she is a slut. Was i in the wrong for telling?

i also told my mom not to say anything about it. just incase and she said "i promise i wont". liar......but she told my stepdad who cannot stand my aunt anyways because she is a trouble maker. my mom told my aunt that i am the one who told my stepdad. he is friends (kinda) with my aunts husband. my moms says she (herself) didnt do anything to cause this problem.....hello? is she nuts? i dont even like my stepdad, much less to carry on a conversation about a family member with him that he doesnt want my mother around. i wouldnt try to take my moms sister away from her. my stepdad wants my mom all to himself. he has moved her far away from her kids and she chose him over us even her grandkids + one on the way.....well i think they are both freaking nuttier than fruit cakes and they were meant for eachother. freaks!! and my aunt is still a slut with 3 teeth in her whole head...and she is from WV & she has slept with her cousin.. 4 real. ask angela1040 she will agree. :)

She requested that you not tell *anyone*, but YOU were the one who specified that you would not tell her *husband*. However, she did accept your qualification, so as far as secret-keeping goes, you're in the clear - you promised not to tell the husband, but you made no promises about not telling other people.
Like you said, it's really none of your business, so you really shouldn't have told anyone. However, if you sincerely feel that more damage/harm may be caused by keeping the secret, then it's okay to tell.
It's understandable that your aunt is mad at you, but she really has no one to blame but herself.

I dont think you were wrong at all.
our aunt was acting completley inapropriet.
You had a right to tell your own mother.
Your mom shouldnt of told your step dad and it was even worse that he told so and so.
You have no reason to feel guilty
hope things sort out soon!

No, your aunt shouldn't be doing that in the first place, she needs to accept the consequences and needs to move on! She needs to do things like that and needs to be expected to get caught!

You didn't know better, you thought she meant telling her husband. Who cares if she is mad at you, she should get her sh*t together and stop acting like shes 20.

Heck NO I would've told her husband. It's not like this was a one time thing the woman has been doing it for years. Sounds kinda skanky..

If your aunt didn't want to be found out she shouldn't have been in such a public place. She can't be THAT worried if she's going out to bars and behaving that way.
So...No I don't think you were wrong for telling.

No, what you did was fine. It doesn't sound like you agreed to not saying anything, therefore, it's your business who you tell. I understand why everyone's mad but it will pass.
