Homespun Tapes.

Their instructional DVDs are the BEST.

Do a search. They are on the web.

I've been playing for over 45 years and I'm self- taught. When I started it was books or nothing. Get a book of chords and a tuner. Choose 2 or 3 chords - A D E are good. Choose one, learn to play it, the choose another and practise changing between the 2. the add the 3rd. These are the 3 chords in the key of A . Then learn G and you have the key of D ( D G A ). With these chords you can play no end of stuff. Eg: Johnny B Goode. Hound Dog, Blue Suede Shoes. I Saw Her Standing There. Twist and Shout. La Bamba.Roll Over Beethoven. Hope this helps.

get Estaban's guitar DVDs. they are very informative and excellant instructional tools that you can stop and start over at your own pace. just do a web search, he has a website and he also sells some really good sounding good quality guitars at a reasonable price.
