Do bra's effect the size of a girl's breast? Like if she is wearing one versus not wearing one? I'm not even talking about push up bras or anything just a regular bra.

When we had homecoming her breasts looked a lot smaller than normal and i noticed that she wasn't wearing a bra... will this effect the appearance?

Just a little confused on this.. Serious answers please... thanks!

seriously. have you ever seen a large breasted woman wearing a bra? how about a small breasted. or a medium breasted woman? see any correlation? all sizes of women wear bras.

no bras do not effect actual breast size. weight, genetics, diet, implants, a whole lot of factors dictate the size of a womens breast. the least of which is her underwear.

On the other hand, there are some padded bras out there to make breasts appear larger.....

and of course, the rest of the answers regarding sagging are accurate.

by the way, why are you looking at her breasts anyway? you're too young.

Breasts are fluid - that means they will accept the shape of their containment. This is why, if you look at some old movies, we've seen different breast shapes as "ideal" over time.

The impact is seen more in shape but, if the shape we're forming is the 'B52' of Marilyn Monroe and the 1950's circle stitch bra (all pushed forward) then the breasts will appear larger. If the shape we're forming is the confined 1960's Twiggy then the breasts will appear flat against the chest. In the 70's it was a "teardrop" supported from the bottom and left to fall from the top. 80's was maximum cleavage forced in from the sides which appears bigger than the 70s teardrop. And it's all based on the bra. Present fashion is 'half-melon' or globes. But your bra options are out there.

Try this experiment for an example of how it works. Make a water balloon. Get a glass with a large top opening and set your water balloon on top of it. Try the same with a bowl that is smaller at the top than your water balloon. The balloon will take the shape of the container. ☺ Same with breasts. Breasts will hold the shape they gain for a little while even after they are released from their container (bra).

Get a push up bra. When you but a push up bra, it's a good idea to splurge though. The cheaper ones (like if you were to get one at walmart) look a lot less real than the more expensive ones, like at VS or nordstroms. The placement of the padding is really important. I like the incredible bras from victorias secret a lot, but everyone is going to like something different. Ask the sales person what they reccomend, the ladys there seriously have tried all of the bras and know exactly what to suggest. If you're embarassed saying you want your boobs to look bigger, tell her that you bought a dress to wear out and you're looking for something that will give you a boost in size and cleavage or something like that to fill out the dress better.

Bra's effect how a woman's breast look a lot. Whether a woman is wearing a push up bra or a regular bra it helps lift the breast and keep them from sagging.

ok i am a girl and the bra does not effect the boobs. a regular bra may have the beasts look smaller because they are not padded and when they are padded it makes the boobs look bigger and since if she usually has a padded bra it makes her breasts stand out more and when that's happens that's when boys go for them.Even if shes hot or shes not it doesn't matter about the breasts it matters just whats in the inside. so think about like the saying "never judge a book by its cover" or " it doesn't matter whats on the outside it matters whats in the inside.

Some bras have padding in them, which would make them appear larger than when not wearing a bra. Also, depending upon how the breasts are positioned normally without support (high, low, etc.) could make all the difference in size when not contained in a bra.

Yes because a bra provides support if u have big breasts and you don't wear a bra it will make them look smaller cuz you aren't wearing support .....same goes for the lil breasted girls who wear push ups to enhance the size

Yes they do. Most bras have a thin fiberfill padding. Then, of course, there are the padded bras, which can add a full cup size (turns an A into a B). Push up bras will make you look larger also, as the bottom half of the bra is padded and pushes you "up and out."

Well.....lots of women wear padded bras, which makes breasts appear fuller. And nearly all bras push the breasts up, yes there are push up ones but even just a regular bra pushes them up..

well, different styles and sizes give women many different looks.

do some research on Victoria's Secret website and you will see the same models looking different based on the style they are wearing.

And yes, breasts look different in and out of bras.

Ever seen a girl in a sports bra versus a swimsuit? There ya go.
