Just wondering but why is it that most people that are against global warming are christians? I mean why would they even want to fight the belief that it's real? I guess I just don't understand why these people who love Jesus and Love the bible so much would go to so much trouble and be so evil about denying it? Don't they think that if god created this earth he'd want us to start taking better care of it..Seriously I just don't get why they don't want to believe in it..Can anyone explain it to me? I'm sure I'll get a couple rude answers from these people out there but just explain why your so against it please.

They aren't against Global Warming, they deny Global Warming.. big difference. I am against global warming, which means I think it exists, and want to prevent it.

Maybe they feel God is in total control, and nothing we do in relation to the environment matters, because everything is God's will.

I am an atheist. While I DO know the Earth is warming, the idea that it is man made is absurd. The man made global warming champ,Al gore, owns stock in several large solar power companies. The belief in GW is in his interest to make millions.Understand that first.

Global warming, and cooling, have occurred throughout the history of the Earth. One period, about 7,000 years ago, began the advent of agriculture and the first city/states.A more recent global warming trend, that ended, destroyed the Viking culture. They called it Greenland because it was good fertile soil. Then the warming period ended and the ice grew, ending the vikings.Today we panic when we hear of the Greenland ice sheet melting. The ice sheet forming destroyed a culture. This is fact

The hysteria over man made global warming is just that, hysteria. Is the Earth warming?yes. Will sea levels rise?yes. Will the earth be flooded?NO.Will adjustments follow?yes Is there anything WE can do about it?no.The moon and Mars are ALSO warming,no people there. If ALL the ICE CAPS melted, and not even Gore predicts that, the world would not be close to flooded. Not buying into Gore's money making hysteria doesn't mean one doesn't care about the environment.I am concerned deeply about our national parks,I don't litter,I have some solar power.Going green s great.Getting hysterical and thinking it is our fault or we can stop it isn't.Especially when that fear is based primarily on a movement by a man who stands to make millions off that fear

As a Christian- I am not against the theory of Global Warming or even the possible idea that man may be contributing to it. I do however know that God is clear in His word that He and He alone will decide when this present world when come to an end. And an end to his mercy towards those who have rejected His Son- Jesus Christ. As a Christian I am commanded to take care of the earth that he has given us and thus a Christian following His command would use the resources He has given us reasonably.

We are not against it because God gave us the earth to take care of, but all of this stuff about Global Warming is seriously flawed! We do not have records from way back telling us that the weather hasen't had it's ups and downs like the changing of the seasons. mabe the earth is going to have more oceans and some animals will go exinct, but that isn't a big deal cuz of course that has happened before, animals going extinct. so what I am trying to say is that a whole bunch of people are going crazy for nothing.

Hmm ... Okay, I went to our Catholic Web page and there's so much we're doing together for the Environment ... the Vatican's planing tree's to make up for it's imprint on the environment, the Pope's talked about water as a precious commodity ...

If u've ever read the O.T. you'd see a reoccurring pattern of prophecy nah-sayers ... Yep, every time God's given us warnings we hardly ever listen. Usually, the prophet gets ousted from society. At least we're accepting Al Gore & the scientist's that work with 'em.

Since China is primarily Budhist (atheist), ah, I'd say the biggest nah-sayer's against Global warming is not Christains. I would say that you surround yourself with more Christains than Budhists (or Chinese) and are only aware of these for and opposing views.

I am a born-again, baptized in
the Holy Ghost Christian and I
believe we are killing the lovely earth that the Lord God gave us.
We live on a big ball. We have an atmosphere that provides humans with protection. In this past century, we have polluted our
air and waters, our oceans are sewage dumps, we have
released megatons of carbons
into our air and we have
caused an imbalance in what
is needed by our earth to survive. if our earth dies,
humans die, simple.
How is that in opposition to
Christianity? Only to a certain
segment of "christians" who
feel this present administration is headed by
God's man. Many of our
brethren have been deceived
into believing the political lies
that prevail in the evangelical
christian church.
It is a religion of power and
greed and the rich. It is sad
that so many follow it.

It all began approximately 1250 AD after we began to chill off into the interval now realize because the Little Ice Age. Around 1850 used to be while the Little Ice Age began to hot up. In the 1930's used to be the primary top in temperature adopted by way of a small calm down that lasted from the 1940's by way of the 1980's. The History Channel must have those timelines someplace.

I'm an atheist and y'know what? Global warming is a damn HOAX. First they say it's getting colder, then hotter, then colder, then hotter, then colder, then hotter, then colder, then hotter, then colder, then hotter, then colder, then hotter, then colder, then hotter, then colder, AND THEN HOTTER AGAIN!

Global warming is caused by high ocean salinity, NOT ******* CARBON MONOXIDE, THAT REFLECTS SUNLIGHT.

We are in a pre ice age era, and during pre ice age eras, the temperatures can flash back and fourth real quick (like once every 10 to 100 years) and then we're in a post ice age. How to save the earth? I do not know, as soon as the earth's orbit becomes more elliptical, those flashes will stop, it will get COLD, and your wonderful 2000 year old book that's been modified over 9000 times will NOT save you.

I'm a beliver of Global Warming, and I know what your saying. I think that we should start taking care of Earth and realize that we're realying on a date of the End that will NEVER happen, atleast anytime soon. We need to take the advise of Al Gore and cut down on our bills, and that does mean *sniff* little internet and more corn gas.
