Clor-Trimeton is an antihistamine which is commonly used to reduce itching and allergic reactions in dogs and cats. It reduces nausea, preventing motion sickness, and works as a mild tranquilizer.
It's one of the least effective of those available for dogs, and not without side-effects. It causes drowsiness, dry mouth and excessive thirst. It should not be taken by animals with some medical conditions.
"Some argue that it is the drowsiness side effect that makes this medication appear to be helpful in itch management (i.e. patients scratch less because they are sleeping more.)"

Clor-trimeton comes in tablet form, liquid and injectible forms.
Like everyone else, I recommend that you speak to your vet first, before giving any meds...over the counter or otherwise.
I'm not sure why you're using this product, however, if you're using it for allergies, you should eliminate the source of the problem, rather than treating the resulting symptoms on your dog.
One cause of itching is parasites..fleas, ticks, mange, or ringworm.
If it's allergies, these are often the result of detergents, cleaning products, carpet powders, perfumes, air fresheners or cigarette smoke. Outdoors, there are pesticides and herbicides commonly found in yards and gardens.
Dogs can also have food allergies, and can have reactions to foods with corn, wheat, soy or other products.
Dry skin can be itchy. Use a dog shampoo formulated for dry skin (oatmeal). Always rinse well. Don't use human shampoos - the pH is wrong.

How about none?? You should consult your vet before giving your dog anything...why would you give her this anyway?? If a vet told you to do it then you would know how much...which leads me to believe that you are medicating your dog on your own? Don't take the chance of killing your dog...call your vet.

Well, your vet should have told you - if not call them back... You should not give it (or any other meds) to your dog without talking to a vet first!!! Especailly since your dog is so small!
