I was sick for a whole month with pnemonia. my eyes used to be blue-white. I'm better now, but now they are not as white as they used to be. they feel hot all the time and I have not been getting reasonable rest. all in all, how can I get the whites of my eyes back to the color they used to be?

Frankly, I would ask my doctor since you mention you were very ill. Rest is very important also.. But since they feel hot I would see my doctor and maybe you need to see an eye specialist. Don't fool around when it comes to your eyes.. Get them checked out by your doctor soon..

You are still recovering so give it time. Get rest. If you eyes are feeling hot, they may be dry, so use some over the counter tear drops. DO NOT use anything that says it will get the red out. Those work short term but you can become dependent on them, so that you need them all the time.

Why did you ask this question in the dental section? I think your eyes will recover after healing. You probably broke some blood vessels while sick. Give them time and maybe use some good hydration drops daily.
